If you are a member of Mensa in Georgia, you may recognize the name Gary Flom from the Gary's Game Corner in our monthly MOTS. In real life, Gary is an M.D. specializing in Otolaryngology (ears, nose and throat) in Stockbridge, GA.

Recently Gary developed a Universal Medical Forceps concept allowing the tip of the instrument to rotate 360 degrees. In honor of that development, Gary was awarded the Mensa Foundation's 2009 Copper Black Award for Creative Achievement. Gary accepted the award at the 2009 Peachtreat RG.
